History

The name says it all right from the start, because enwacon stands for ENergy, WAter and CONsulting.

The office was founded in Neumünster in 2002 by Dipl.-Ing. Alexander Schulz-Pflugbeil and Dipl.-Phys. Michael Kallweit, in 2007 Dipl.-Ing. Olaf Struck joined as a partner and still the third owner today.

While Michael Kallweit deals with seepage and process water technology and the legal requirements for environmentally friendly disposal, a team developed around Alexander Schulz-Pflugbeil that implements the conception, planning and tendering of environmental technology systems. As a result, the two sister companies enwacon-Entsorgung and enwacon-Engineering emerged.

The enwacon engineering GmbH & Co. KG initially started with planning services for larger offices throughout Germany. In 2007, the first general planner contract for the complete conversion and expansion of a municipal sewage treatment plant was won through a VOF procedure.

Due to the increasing demands of the customers, the areas TGA and electrical engineering were included in the portfolio, in 2015 the office moved to Kiel and in 2021 it found a new home in a listed property near the water.

Since 2018, the enwacon team has been supporting its customers with quality-certified commitment.
