Privacy Policy

General note and mandatory information

Scope of application

This Privacy Policy is intended to inform the users of the nature, scope and purposes of the collection and use of their data by the responsible provider.

Designation of the controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

ENWACON Engineering GmbH & Co. KG
Niemannsweg 133
D-24105 Kiel

The controller determines, alone or jointly with others, the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (e.g. names, contact details, etc.).

Collection of general information

Every time this website is accessed, information is automatically collected by us or the web space provider. This information, also referred to as server log files, is of a general nature and does not allow any conclusions as to your identity.

The information collected includes: name of the website, file, date, data volume, web browser and web browser version, operating system, the domain name of your Internet provider, the so-called referrer URL (the website from which you have accessed our website) and the IP address.

Without these data, it would not be technically possible to deliver and display some contents of the website, which is why the collection of these data is absolutely essential. In addition, we use the anonymous information for statistical purposes. It helps us optimise the website and the technology. In addition, we reserve the right to subsequently check the log files in the event that unlawful use of our website is suspected.

Right of access, right to rectification, blocking and erasure and right to object

You have the right to request free-of-charge information on your personal data stored by us and/or request rectification, blocking or erasure of your data. Exceptions: The data storage is required for business purposes or the data are subject to the statutory retention requirements.

Withdrawal of your consent to data processing

Some data may only be processed with your express consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Sending an informal message by email is sufficient for withdrawal. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the data processing before the withdrawal.

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

In the event of any infringements of the data protection regulations, you, as the data subject, have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority for data protection issues is the State Commissioner for Data Protection in the federal state in which our company has its registered office. For a list of State Commissioners for Data Protection as well as their contact details, please follow the link below: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/ Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

Right to data portability

You have the right to request that the data which we process automatically based on your consent or for the performance of a contract be made available to you or to a third party. The data will be made available in a machine-readable format. If you request direct transmission of the data to another controller, this will only take place to the extent technically feasible.

SSL and/or TLS encryption

Our website uses SSL and/or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries you send to us, i.e. the website operator. This makes sure that data you transmit via this website cannot be read by third parties. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address bar of your browser showing "https://" and by the padlock symbol in the browser address bar.

Integration of third-party services and contents

Our website contains third-party contents and services, such as maps provided by Google Maps, YouTube videos as well as graphics and images of other websites. The transmission of the IP address is absolutely essential in order for these data to be called up and displayed in the user's browser. This means that the IP address of the respective user is visible to the providers (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers").

Although we make every effort to use exclusively third-party providers who only need the IP address to deliver contents, we have no influence on whether the IP address is possibly stored. In that case, this process serves statistical purposes, among other things. Where we are aware of the IP address being stored, we will inform our users.

Server log files

The provider of the website automatically collects and stores information in server log files that is automatically transmitted to us by your browser. This information includes:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the computer accessing the website
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

These data will not be associated with any other data sources. The basis for the data processing is point (b) of Article 6 (1) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or in order to take steps prior to entering into a contract.
