Planning order regenerative energy optimization of Hof Medewege
Our TGA team receives the planning contract on the Medewege farm near Schwerin to carry out a holistic energy optimization. Medewege consists a total of 22 property buildings in the district of Schwerin and is an organic farm that grows its products and produces and sells it on site. These buildings include warehouses, sales buildings, production facilities (bakery, gardening, carpentry) as well as residential buildings and stables. Within the recant decades all properties have been equipped with different and sometimes outdated standards in the heat supply. The task is to develop a completely new energetic concept for the Medewege farm. A new construction of a market hall has to be planned with usable areas for sales, gastronomy and holiday apartments must be included in the holistic concept. In this context, the total electrical consumption of the farm should also be recorded and determined. On this basis, in addition to the redesign of a new and central heat supply system, the future electricity consumption of the entire farm is to be ensured as far as possibilities of renewable sources, with the aim of self-sufficient energy supply. For this purpose, several PV systems, in form of roof surface systems, open-air systems, but also wind power systems must be included in the planning. Appropriate energy storage (battery storage / salt water storage, etc.) must be taken into consideration for an optimized use of photovoltaic systems. Any recently developed electrical energy sources could also be used for an accompanying heat supply, such as negative storage (power to heat) , insofar as it is proportionately available. The need, the benefit, as well as the combination with new, possibly regenerative heat supply should ensure that the Medewege farm can be operated as energy self-sufficiently as possible in the future. The measure is supported with federal and state subsidies. The conceptual overall evaluation and processing is carried out in coordination with an energy consultant office.
