Sailingtour 2018

Our summer festival 2018 took place on the water - as it should be for people of Schleswig-Holstein. Unfortunately we caught one of the few rainy days in this summer of the century, which brought us next to a lof of water from below also a lot of water from above.
Unimpressed as we northern lights are, we stood on deck of the traditional sailing vessel „Ethel of Brixham“ and have lifted the anchor.

Built in southern England in 1890, the ship has fished for decades in the waters between the Norwegian Sea and the Biscay, very stable, fast and high on the wind.
Since 1996, the „old lady“ has a little more comfort on board and became a charter ship on the Baltic Sea.

After we set sail and pulled pods we´ve made ourselves comfortable under deck with plenty of food and spun some sailor's yarn.
