Represented at the in-house construction fair of the Kiel University of Applied Sciences.

The Kiel University of Applied Sciences, in the Faculty of Civil Engineering, held a house construction fair on October 25th, 2022. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Lars Appel as institute director in the civil engineering department led the fair at the audimax for Civil Engineering. Various authorities, engineering offices and companies around Kiel and Hamburg area presented themselves in the presence of the students in the field of civil engineering. The presentations primarily dealt with the integration of young graduates into working life. Our office enwacon was also represented with a small stand that day. Our managing director Alexander Schulz-Pflugbeil held a presentation regarding the tasks and activities in an engineering office.

After a series of presentations, interesting discussions took place between the students and the authorities, engineering offices and companies.

The Kiel University of Applied Sciences offers a network between students and industry and the municipality via its project coordination for industry-related studies. We are also positioned as an office in the portfolio and have a close relationship to the Institute for Civil Engineering at Kiel University of Applied Sciences, which is newly grounded a few years ago and still is relatively young.
